- A quiet confidential ministry designed to provide one on one compassionate listening and ongoing support.
- For individuals experiencing loss or transition in their lives, such as the death of a loved one, illness, unemployment or divorce.
- Was started at CPC in 1999 by Linda Finfrock and David Voss, CPC’s beloved late Parish Associate.
- Consists of 18 Stephen Ministers and 5 Stephen Leaders, who meet regularly for Continuing Education and supervision. Stephen Ministers complete a 16 week training program in skilled listening and providing compassionate care. Stephen Leaders undergo additional training.
