Senior Adults

Triple F, an interdenominational group, is open to all over fifty years of age who seek fellowship, programs, guest speakers, outings and lunch at local restaurants on the first and third Mondays of each month from September to June. This group of retired, young-at-heart members continues to meet with a variety of speakers, programs, and trips.
During the year there are also opportunities for an April overnight at Caswell Beach, an annual picnic in June, and a Christmas party. Elected officers lead the group in “Food, Fun, and Fellowship.” There is a small annual fee, and new members are always welcome.

Softball Teams

*Currently, games are on hold until the Town of Cary lifts the restrictions in place due to COVID-19.
Since 2007, CPC has fielded one or two teams every spring in the Town of Cary Church Softball League. During the season, the teams play games twice a week from April to mid June against local churches such as St. Michael’s, Crosspointe, Triangle Community Church, and others.  Players, family and friends also spend time in fellowship together at a local restaurant after most games.  All are warmly encouraged to attend games, cheer on our teams, and participate in the fellowship time afterwards!

Book Clubs

CPC is blessed to have many avid readers as well as a well-stocked library. Cool Books Club members meet monthly to share their love of reading and expand their faith, focusing on books with theological and/or social issues. Currently, they are meeting the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

As an outreach of love and compassion, members of CPC spend time together knitting and praying over shawls and blankets that are given to those who could use comfort at challenging times in their lives. If you or someone you know would appreciate having a prayer shawl or if you would like to be part of the Prayer Shawl Ministry, please contact Lynn Voss through the church office.

Card Writing Ministry

CPC’s on-going concern and care for one another shows up in mailboxes! Members of the Card Writing ministry send warm thoughts and encouraging words to those who are included in our "Joys and Concerns" shared during Sunday worship. Camille Lambe coordinates this ministry. You can contact her through the church office.
