JESUS SAID, "LET THE LITTLE CHILDREN COME TO ME..."
At Cary Presbyterian Church, our goal is for children to know that they are loved by God, no matter what. Partnering with their families, we strive to bring up children knowing, loving and living out the Good News of Jesus Christ.
FAITH FORMATION FOR CHILDREN
Sunday Mornings 9:15-10:20 AM
Rooms 220 & 222 Children in K-5th grade will use lessons from PC(USA)'s Follow Me curriculum as well as Growing in God’s Love curriculum based on the story Bible of the same name. We focus on story telling and how we can follow Jesus by learning about different faith practices. It’s through the stories of the Bible that we get to know God, the things Jesus said and did, and ourselves as beloved children of God and as members of the faith community. Every family is provided a copy of this Bible to have in their homes!
Room 224 Young children learn by practicing. They are observing and mimicking the world and people around them to discover their own identities. Learning the words and actions of our faith may seem beyond a young one's abilities, but this is where the faith practices are rooted and grow. Children aged 3-5 will engage in play and practice-based lessons from the Follow Me curriculum.
Nursery Care 9:00-11:30 AM:
Room 221 Dedicated staff members provide consistency in care for Infant and Toddlers up to age 3 during the Faith Formation hour and during the worship service.

Vacation Bible School
During the summer, Vacation Bible School (VBS) is an amazing, faith based experience for elementary aged children. Children learn about serving God in fun, engaging ways, including bible storytelling, crafts, music, science, recreation and mission projects. Dates/times are planned to allow for children in both traditional and year-round schools the opportunity to join us. Typically, the program runs on the Wednesday evenings in June.
