Be the Hands is two weeks packed full of service opportunities for everyone at Cary Presbyterian. In the past we have assisted the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle, assembled Presbyterian Disaster Clean-up Kits, done yard work for church members, and much more. Since 2017, hundreds of volunteers have joined in this intergenerational service project that culminates with dinner and fellowship.
We have a wide variety of service opportunities, and you can work with other members or do something on your own. Most projects will take place from October 28 through November 12.
Gift card donations can be given to a BTH team member on Sunday or to Barbara Carew in the church office. Between now and November 29 we are also collecting items to help Church World Service set up an apartment for refugees.
Be the Hands coordinates service opportunities with several local partner organizations that support those in need in our community.
