Visit

Welcome

Guests and members alike are greeted in a spirit of hospitality and grace. While the COVID-19 pandemic has limited our in-person activities, CPC remains an active and vibrant congregation, ready to welcome you to our Sunday worship services via our Facebook page, or to study and fellowship opportunities via Zoom (see our calendar).

Our office staff and pastors are happy to speak with you by phone at 919-467-8700, or you can contact us by using the form below.

During worship services, you'll find reserved parking out front for visitors and friendly greeters to meet you at the front door.

If you are worshiping with us for the first time, we’ll invite you to make a nametag so that others can greet you by name. During worship, members and visitors alike are invited to sign the Worship Registers, located in the pews, so that we can follow up with a note or a call.

How do I learn more about Cary Presbyterian?

Our pastors and staff are happy to speak with you any time. Please feel free to contact the church office at 919-467-8700, or contact them here.

On Sundays after worship, the “Officer of the Day,” one of our church Elders or Deacons, will be circulating in the narthex to answer questions.

How do I become a member?

Joining a church family is a very important life event. The pastors, staff, and Session of Cary Presbyterian Church want to help you in making this commitment. Our pastors will be happy to speak with you about church membership. Below are the ways you may join:

Baptism/Profession of Faith
Perhaps you have never joined a church before. Perhaps you have never been baptized. If not, you would be given the opportunity to join by professing the Christian Faith. Membership also includes the Sacrament of Baptism. Anyone who has not yet been baptized may simply receive the Sacrament of Baptism at the time they are joining the church.  We accept all previous Christian baptisms.

Transfer of Letter
Members of another Christian church may join Cary Presbyterian by “transfer of letter of membership.” We will request the transfer of your certificate of membership on your behalf.

Reaffirmation of Faith
Perhaps you have not been an active member of another church for a while. If so, you may join by “reaffirmation of faith.” You would be asked to reaffirm the vows you first affirmed when you joined a church.
