Worship Services/Times

While we are all abiding by recommendations to shelter in place and avoid public gatherings during the COVID-19 outbreak, Cary Presbyterian will continue to offer worship opportunities online.

Beginning Sunday, April 5, worship will be live-streamed weekly at 10:00 a.m. on the Cary Presbyterian Facebook Page at this link
(You do not need a Facebook account to access this link.)

Worship bulletins are available here.

We have two worship services on Sundays at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. On the last Sunday of each month, we gather for a single All Together Service at 10:30 a.m.

During the summer months between Memorial and Labor Days, we have one worship service on Sunday mornings at 10 a.m.

Worship is liturgical, with a blend of formal and informal elements. Services are relational, with wide participation from members of all ages.

An Order of Worship, or bulletin, guides worshipers through the service, which includes liturgies, prayers, music, scripture, sermon, time with our children and sacraments. See recent worship bulletins here.

The music includes familiar and new hymns, as well as anthems from our chancel choir. In addition, services often feature special music offerings from our mixed a cappella and women’s ensembles, children’s choir, and instrumental ensemble.

Children in grades 3-5 have the opportunity to serve as acolytes during worship.

A mother and her young daughter receive communion by intinction from a church officer.
The worship of the triune God is the center of our common life and our primary way of witness to the faith, hope, and love we have in Jesus Christ.
