8:30 a.m. Worship
Our early morning service is a more intimate, contemplative worship experience. Traditional elements, including liturgies, hymns, scripture and sermon remain, but the order of service has recently been modified to include more opportunity for silent prayer and reflection.
11:00 a.m. Worship
Our 11:00 a.m. service is a blend of traditional and more contemporary music, liturgy experiences and celebrations of our lives together.
Children from 3 to 7 years old are encouraged to attend Children and Worship beginning at 11:00 a.m. upstairs in the Education Building. Children and Worship is an internationally recognized spiritual formation approach that presents a joyful way for children to worship God. Under the guidance of trained leaders, children and adults experience the wonder and mystery of God through a unique storytelling format and multi-sensory materials. In keeping with Cary Presbyterian Church’s tradition of families worshiping together, the children are escorted back to the Sanctuary around 11:30 by ushers and teachers for Time with the Children on the Chancel steps. Then they will join their parents for the remainder of worship.
Regular nursery care for younger children also is provided downstairs in the Education Building each Sunday during 11:00 a.m. worship.
All Together Sundays are on the last Sunday of each month with only one service at 11:00 a.m. as the entire congregation comes together for worship and celebration. After worship, Fair Trade products can be purchased outside the Fellowship Hall with proceeds supporting Esperanza, the CPC Guatemala mission project.
